Individual therapy

Individual Therapy is your personal journey in healing while being accompanied by a professional trained therapist while in your traveling.  Your therapist will guide you in resolving issues that are impeding your happiness and sense of well- being.  The therapist helps you to uncover historical events in your life that impact relationships and how you think and behave. As the therapeutic process continues the therapists’ goal is to empower and equip you with the tools needed to cope with life and make healthy positive changes.

What is Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy?

First, let’s define Hypnosis?   Hypnosis is an extraordinary quality of mental, physical and emotional relaxation which by-passes the critical factors of the mind and thus the mind becomes highly responsive to suggestion.  It is a natural state of mind.  Most people ebb and flow throughout this state of mind about 80% of the day. I like to better break it down to conscious mind state as the top layer of our thought developed while awake and the sub-conscious being the underlaying thought and reactive behaviors caused by such thoughts.

Hypnotherapy is the process of psychotherapy with a client who is in the hypnotic altered state of consciousness.  Hypnotherapy is internationally recognized as a technique which has been used to treat mental and psychosomatic issues.  Hypnotherapy can be viewed as a pathway providing a person access to the source of their distress and issues by opening the doors to their subconscious mind. This can be effective in helping the person better understand the foundation of their issues. Hypnotherapy assist adults and other individuals with childhood trauma. low self-esteem, and low confidence find self-compassion and empathy for the lifelong hurt carried throughout their lifespan.

“Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is a highly effective treatment model that addresses body, mind, and spirit.  Sessions are designed to end in a place of gentle self-acceptance, worthiness, and heart-centered love. Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy leads clients down their own profoundly exciting road to self-discovery.” –                       The Wellness Institute, Issaquah, WA

What can Hypnotherapy treat?

Hypnotherapy can assist in addictions/habits, fears, phobias, physical pain, and memory lapse from the past.  Many of my clients have benefited by receiving hypnosis for personal growth and healing. Hypnotherapy is a way for individuals to seek deeper into their healing by reaching to their subconscious mind where the core of pain resonates.

Group therapy

The truest fact that many individuals do not know, is that the human being is also known as an “animal being”.  Most animals run in packs, flocks, schools, and herds. Animals need animals! Therefore, people need people!  Group Therapy is a safe, communal environment where individuals meet to discuss their stresses and concerns with others to improve their quality of life and happiness.  Group Therapy is a support group for individuals with depression, grief, anxiety, social interaction, trauma, teens, men’s wellness, women’s wellness, parental support for children with behavior challenges and bariatric support.  Soulful Healing Counseling is affiliated with “My Hungry Heads” program which supports dietary, safety, and skill building for bariatric patients and their tool (procedure).  A leader will facilitate the groups via activities, field trips, discussion, and accountability.  Your group leader will provide therapeutic approaches in CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and homework to assist you in healing and learning to self-regulate your emotions and behaviors. There is no “I” in “Group” – you are not alone.

Unfortunately, young adults are feeling misplaced and lost in the adult transition from the teen years.  Structured groups are in development for teens and young adults with trauma and maladaptive behaviors.  A professional therapist or facilitator will teach you the necessary tools, coping skills, strategies, and guidance to help you find your way back to the right path of happiness, freedom, peace, and overall wellness. Sometimes, some things are just too big to do alone. Group therapy is a safe, interactive, and fun place to not feel alone while facing a challenge too big.

Note: Soulful Healing is currently working on more programs for our adolescents, teens, and young adults between ages 19-28, and covid-19. These programs are being well thought out from data collected by our very own clients and needs. Parental support is being investigated as well to assist their struggles and needs due to home schooling, home responsibilities, pandemic, and juggling work.
